The first of the class finals took place today and were judged by 3 S4 pupils: Alannah, Kimberley and Nicola.
In joint 2nd place was Kenya (Harry, Heather and Grant) and Ghana (a great performance by Lisa who had to present on her own as her partner was off!)
And the winner is Egypt (Nicola and Scott)!
The quality of the presentations this year were very good. Many had the national anthems of their African country in the presentation and a few had questions at the end, which I thought was a very mature touch.
It will be great to see the best of the best taking part in the Year Final.

Glad to see the African Adventure going strong again this year. This was a really good introduction to the S1 course and the presentation and teamworking skills the pupils learn doing this type of thing are invaluable.
Hope all is well at HGS.
