Feng Shui in Business

Feng Shui is an ancient Oriental artform whereby one tries to create a positive atmosphere in their surroundings. It may seem a little New Age to us in the West, but it is taken very seriously in China and the East.

Businesses who look to improeing their Feng Shui are really doing so to improve the mood and motivation of their employees and ultimately their customers.

I wonder though if Feng Shui is really related to office ergonomics, just without the science and technical aspects being explained? If something makes you think better or puts you in a better mood, regardless of whether it really is having an impact, surely because it has tricked your mind a bit like a placebo then it has actually worked?

Here is an article which takes Feng Shui a bit further in terms of logo design:

If anyone has any comments on whether they think it has improved their environment (and indeed productivity) please let me know. And naturally if you are a bit sceptical then please share your experiences also.
