This is old news as it was in 2009, but I do find it interesting as I like to see the follow up to Dragons’ Den. The ones that got away are interesting, as are the winners like iTeddy. However, we don’t really get to hear too much from the failures. This one is eye watering.
JPM Eco Logistics are an environmentally friendly haulier who use biodiesel to fuel the trucks. They ran into difficulties and went into administration as they owe £20,000 to a supplier.
Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden invested £127,000 for a 40% stake in the business, but that all went down the drain. So again it just proves that Dragons’ are only human and they do not get it right all the time, even though from their demeanour in the Den at times you would think they were all billionaires!
